Anaheim International Film Festival Calling all Filmmakers to Submit Entries by the Approaching Deadline

ANAHEIM, Calif. – June 14, 2010 The Anaheim International Film Festival is inviting all filmmakers to submit their entries by the regular entry deadline of June 20, 2010. The festival is open to U.S. and foreign films in five categories: narrative features, live action and animated shorts, documentaries and student films. Approximately 100 films will be selected and screened from October 13-17 at Anaheim GardenWalk. Online submissions via www.withoutabox.com are preferred. Full entry guidelines and application forms can also be downloaded at www.anaheimfilm.org.

To be eligible, a film entry must have been completed in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Films entries must not have had major theatrical release, U.S. broadcast airing or DVD sales on the Internet prior to the festival. Entries must be submitted on DVD to AIFF, 321. W. Katella Ave., Suite 441, Anaheim, CA 92802. The regular entry fee is $30. There is a late deadline of June 30 and an extended WithoutABox deadline of July 7. The late entry fee is $45. Discounted entry fees are available for students. All styles, genres and film lengths are welcome.

The inaugural Anaheim International Film Festival runs Oct. 13-17, 2010 at the Anaheim Gardenwalk. Thousands of attendees are expected to visit the five-day festival and participate in film screenings, master classes and workshops taught by industry professionals, and star-studded gala events.
