Entry Deadline Approaching for Anaheim International Film Festival

ANAHEIM, Calif. – MARCH 31, 2010 – The entry deadline for the Anaheim International Film Festival is approaching on June 15, 2010. The festival is open to U.S. and foreign films in five categories: narrative features, live action and animated shorts, documentaries and student films. Approximately 100 films will be selected and screened from October 13-17 at Anaheim GardenWalk. In the festival circuit, the AIFF sets itself apart with a strong focus on international film, shorts and animation programming. Additional highlights include AIFF Digital, a new media interactive component that addresses emerging technologies and digital platforms, and a comprehensive Youth Education Program/Youth Filmmakers Showcase for middle school and high school students.

To be eligible, a film entry must have been completed in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Films entries must not have had major theatrical release, U.S. broadcast airing or DVD sales on the Internet prior to the festival. Entries must be submitted on DVD to AIFF, 321. W. Katella Ave., Suite 441, Anaheim, CA 92802.

All styles, genres and film lengths are welcome. Online submissions via www.withoutabox.com are preferred but full entry guidelines and applications forms may also be downloaded by logging on to www.anaheimfilm.org. Discounted entry fees are available for students. Deadline for entries is June 15, 2010.

The inaugural Anaheim International Film Festival runs Oct. 13-17, 2010 at the Anaheim Gardenwalk. Thousands of attendees are expected to visit the five-day festival and participate in film screenings, master classes and workshops taught by industry professionals, and star-studded gala events.
